Our situation was really quite complex - moving to the USA from the UK as a senior manager in a local company. This meant that while we have a certain amount of capital available, the legal aspects were completely new. Our assumptions about the process and difficulties were all wrong!
Kevin provided a comprehensive service, putting us into to touch with other professionals to establish mortgage offers, accountancy assistance, etc. as well as setting up searches for properties for us to review.
In the end we will have looked at details of well over 200 houses (we did not actually know what we wanted!) but narrowed this down to perhaps 10% of this. Kevin is very professional in his involvement, highlighting factors based upon his knowledge of the area (schools, travel times, shopping, area developments) but being respectful of our right to choose.
Once we had identified the house we wished to purchase, Kevin supported this through to close. Inevitably as someone with almost no USA based credit history there were some unpleasant obstacles, but Kevin supported us, and stepped in to resolve a final critical issue.
The outcome of all of this was that within 5 months of moving to the USA, from a standing start with no local credit rating, we had moved into our new home. We are confident we made the right choice for us, and it took a lot of work on our part too, but without Kevin's professionalism and engagement throughout we would not have made it

His professional guidance to me in preparing my home for sale in the tough market in mid 2011 was reassuring. I was beyond pleased with his marketing of my home, it was top notch. He offered sound suggestions for preparing it for viewing, and brought me an offer within the first two weeks it was on the market! Closing went without a hitch only due to his diligence and follow through. With my home purchase, which was a foreclosure, he offered advise that was sound and in my best interest. through it all, he was professional and very patient with me. After our initial visit with Kevin, we felt immediately comfortable with choosing him to find our next home. Throughout our lengthy eight month search Kevin was always responsive, readily available for showings, and immediately in tune with our evolving search criteria. Yesterday we toured 15ish homes on a tight 3 hour schedule. it was clear to us that Kevin was more interested in understanding what we wanted then he was in selling a home. He openly pointed out potential issues (schools, privacy, taxes) and blocked on site agents so we could look at the homes.
We are weeks from selection but we trust Kevin will make sure we consider all options.
