Selling Your Triangle Home

When selling their home in the triangle people will select their agent in one of the following ways:

1) They will select on the agent's skill, integrity and the strength of their marketing plan, i.e. how the agent will perform if they are hired.

2) They will select on the agent's "Price Opinion". What that agent thinks or says the seller's house will sell for, not realizing that in the real estate business there is something called "Seller Stroking".

 What is "Seller Stroking"?

Seller Stroking is where an agent will tell a seller that their house is worth more than it really is. They do this because they hope the seller will hire them because the seller thinks they are going to get more money!

It is important to note: The agent has no control over market conditions. The agent brings the market, the market brings the price.

I would always advise a seller to interview a number of agents, I would love to be one of those agents. You can then use me as a measuring stick to compare other agents to.
