About Kevin
I was born in
Macclesfield, a small town just outside Manchester, England. Trained an
a Mechanical Engineer I have worked in such diverse fields as textile
machinery, HVAC, petrochemical and auto sport.
Immediately prior to
entering into Real Estate I designed websites and did graphic design. I
am married to Helen and when she was offered an assignment at her firm's
headquarters I came with her to the Triangle.
I live in Morrisville and since arriving in North Carolina I
have got involved in the local community, I am vice-chair of the
Morrisville Environment and Recycling
Committee. I have also taken an
interest in local history being a volunteer tour guide at the
Bennett Place State Historic Site.
An enormous sports fan I follow rugby and soccer back in the UK,
here in America I have followed the Hurricanes and Durham Bulls
with season tickets. I also regularly watch the Carolina
Railhawks and have attended college football and basketball
games.
My Philosophy!
In the UK I was a Boy Scout leader for 25 years. To become a
Scout (or a leader) one has to make a promise before their
fellow Scouts. The promise is as follows (paraphrased).
On my honor, I promise that I will do my best, do my duty…..
help other people and keep the Scout Law.
I've always thought that's a pretty good way to live life and do
business.
