of North Carolina known as the Triangle includes the
cities of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the towns of
Cary, Morrisville and
Apex amongst others.
The city of
Raleigh has been the capital of North Carolina since
1792 but it is in recent years that the Research
Triangle Park (RTP) has grown into the nations largest
research park resulting in massive growth, particularly
in Morrisville,
Cary and Apex.
Triangle
real estate has fared very well during the recent
financial crisis, foreclosures have been relatively low
and many areas actually saw small increases in home
values.
